Moin (hi) and welcome to the english part of spuelsaum model shipyard.
My english pages are not just a traslation of the german original. Beginning with long hours of RNLI videos during the christmas break, I started a RNLI Tyne class Lifeboat 1/20 in jan. 22, just to add a boathouse + slipway short after. Looking in many other directions/countrys before and after a visit to some RNLI stations in Ireland, limited space and time meanwhile forced me to concentrate more on ‚projects‘ or ’stories‘ than on single objects.
At the moment these blocks of interest are:
- German DGzRS: pontoon, some smaller rescue units 1/20, retired units 1/20. The plan built 7m ‚beach rescue boat‘ GESINA in 1/10 scale.
- RNLI units: Douglas station boathouse and slipway with a Tyne class lifeboat 1/20; 1/12 MBD Shannon, 1/72 Severn; wellie-art
- Sailing: A Century 750 based mix from two shipwrecks – for relaxing not for racing
Somehow in parallel I started some various 1/72 and 1/87 objects and projects.
